Hydrosols

Hydrosols, also known as hydrolats, are the run off waters that are collected during the distillation process. These waters contain minute traces of the essential oils from the original plant matter. The properties of the hydrosols are not as strong as the essential oil making them more appropriate to use on very young children, elders and persons with weakened immune systems.
